Private weddings: who sees your photos.

Password-protected gallery, written publication permissions and discreet vendor handling. Privacy is agreed before, not after.

I've photographed celebrations for families, entrepreneurs and public figures where discretion wasn't a preference but a requirement. In that context I learned privacy isn't improvised: it's designed before the event, together with the couple and their planner.

Intimacy is also documented with respect.

Hiring isn't authorising publication

Image usage must be agreed in writing and can be limited by person, moment or channel: no social media, family album only; no guest faces, the couple only. Explicit permission protects everyone in the picture.

The gallery is private by default

Every delivery happens in a password-protected gallery with controlled links and no public downloads. You decide who gets in, for how long and whether high-resolution downloads are enabled. An open link gallery is the exception, not the rule.

A discreet team also coordinates better

Knowing protocols, access points and responsible people reduces interruptions and protects guests, vendors and family. I work with small teams, no invasive flash in intimate moments, and the same discretion during editing: who sees the images before delivery is agreed too.

The archive also deserves care

Private galleries, controlled links and a clear conservation policy are part of a professional experience. You can request the removal of a specific image — or the whole material from any channel — at any time.

Four agreements before the day

  1. Written publication permission, with a defined scope.
  2. Password-protected gallery with expiry you control.
  3. Small team and a protocol agreed with the planner.
  4. Clear policy for conservation and image removal.
